| A nest of 11 AFS sand testing sieves for determining the AFS Grain Fineness Number and distribution of molding and core sands. Included are U.S.A. sieves No. 6, 12, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, 100, 140, 200 and 270. Pan and cover provided.
Sieves are stacked in order of meshes and test sample placed in top sieve. The stack of sieves is then placed in a Combs Sifter or a No. 550-B Ro-Tap Sieve Shaker to shake the sand grains down through the sieves. Specifications: Height (stack):.................12 in.
