| This Sieve Shaker is AFS-approved for determining fineness of foundry sands. It is designed to accurately and consistently classify all types of laboratory samples. It utilizes a horizontal circular motion and tapping action to accomplish a complete separation.
The Ro-Tap Sieve Shaker is designed for standard 8 in. (203 mm) diameter sieves. The unit features a built-in timer, a totally-enclosed, vertically-mounted 1/4-HP motor, enclosed driving mechanism, easy insertion and removal of sieves, and an adjustable plate support. It is virtually maintenance-free (minimum lubrication) for many years of dependable service. (Sieves not included.) A No. 550-SE Sound Enclosure is available.
