Used with the No. 405 series Universal Sand Strength Machine for testing ¼ in. (6.35mm) thick shell transverse specimens. Includes breaking attachment, two-cavity mold with base plate (for oven cure), and hopper strike-off assembly.

Requires the No. 640-C Transverse Core Strength Accessory or No. 640-C1 Transverse Adapter Accessory.
