	NO. 365-A Hot Shell Tensile Tester (Dead Weight)
	Designed for heavy-duty applications, this tester features dead-weight loading, a heavy-duty pull-carriage mounted in linear ball bearings, and large heating blocks. Two individual controllers using thermocouples, one for each heating block control temperature. Contributing to durability is that no gears or racks are used. This is a major feature; it is used in dusty atmospheres. The tester conforms to AFS Standards. A spill pan, outlet to accept No. 366 Timer Accessory, knock-out pin, and combination hopper and strike-off are included. No. 365A-99 Blow Cartridge is available for those who prefer to blow the specimen. The tester forms, cures and breaks 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) thick tensile specimens at temperatures from 150 to 600° F (65 to 315° C) with strengths up to 800 psi (56.2 kg/cm2).
