	NO. 319-A Sand Squeezer
	This pneumatic squeeze unit is used for compactability tests and to prepare specimens for many standard tests including green compression, splitting strength, and permeability. This unit more closely simulates compaction obtained on molding machines that utilize squeezing in the compaction sequence. The automatic squeeze minimizes operator variation. The unit includes all necessary equipment for measuring compactability of molding sands: No. 319-C1 Compactability Scale No. 315-F Tube Filler Accessory No. 315-9 Specimen Tube No. 315-30 Specimen Tube Conditioner No. 315-11 Cup Pedestal No. 315-14 Stripping Post No. 319A-7 2 in. pedestal assembly pressure regulator, filter, oiler, reduced air pressure gauge, and large diameter applied pressure gauge. An in-line orifice prevents impact loading of the sand. A line pressure of 100 psi (7 kg/cm2) will provide a range of applied pressure to 350 psi (24.6 kg/cm2) on a 2 in. (50.8 mm) diameter specimen, and a range to 1125 psi (79 kg/cm2) on a 11/8 in. (28.57 mm) diameter specimen. Specifications: Dimensions: Height: 27 in. (686 mm) Base: 6x12 in.
