NO. 315-17 Sand Rammer Base NO. 315-45 Sand Rammer Pedestal
Sand Rammers that are operated on a laboratory bench often disturb balances or other sensitive testing equipment. This freestanding pedestal can be used to transmit the ramming shock directly to the floor. This also frees up additional bench space.

The pedestal is 34½ inches high (876 mm) and consists of a 6-inch diameter (152 mm) steel column welded between steel plates. The round base plate has 3 holes at 120° so that the pedestal can be bolted to the floor. The upper plate is 10 x 13½ inches (254 x 343 mm) with mounting holes to mount a No. 315-17 Rammer Base (sold separately).

Specifications:

Net weight: 100 lb (45 kg)

This cantilever base isolates the sand rammer from its foundation so that ramming energy is the same regardless of where the rammer is mounted. It reduces variations between laboratories and ensures consistent results. The sand rammer bolts directly to the base. (Provided as standard equipment with No. 754-A Sand Rammer. Available as an accessory to sand rammer Models No. 315, and No. 315-R.)
